Get To Know Your Nurse Coach
Hi, I'm Chelsea.
Registered Nurse and Nurse Coach.

I grew up in Iowa. I went to nursing school at Mount Mercy College (now University) and received a bachelors degree in the science of nursing. Right out of nursing school I worked at a local hospital on the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit. I loved that job! It was truly inspiring to watch my patients go from not having the ability to care for themselves due to an injury such as a spinal cord injury, to having wheelchair races with the staff upon discharge.

Shortly after graduating nursing school, I married my high school sweet heart and we moved to Arizona. While in Arizona, I worked as a clinic nurse for the Indian Health Service. This is where I first fell in love with helping patients transform their health through realistic goal setting.

We lived in Arizona for three years and decided it was time for a new adventure. Our path led us to Juneau, Alaska. I continued to work in the area of tribal health, this time as a Nurse Case Manager. This was an amazing, yet challenging, experience for us. Two years of the most amazing outdoor experiences proved to also be quite lonely at times. So, we moved back to Arizona.

It was in Arizona that we had our daughter. I worked in the field of Public Health for three years and then life took us on another adventure. We now live in Montana. I continue to work in Public Health, along with coaching people to be the best versions of themselves.
